1 Loaf of French Bread
8 Eggs
3 1/2 Cups of Milk
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Almond Extract
2 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp of Cinnamon
Topping Ingredients:
4 Tbsp Sugar
1 Tsp of Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
4 Tbsp Butter
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously spray a 13" x  9" baking dish. Cut French Bread into large cubes and place evenly in baking dish. In separate small bowl mix together topping ingredients Sugar, Cinnamon and Nutmeg and set aside. Cut butter into small pieces and set aside in the refrigerator to keep cold.  It also works well to cut the cold butter into some of the sugar mixture and crumble over the top, reserving some of the sugar mixture to sprinkle over entire dish if desired before baking. In mixing bowl add Eggs, Milk, Vanilla, Almond, Sugar and Cinnamon. Whisk well to combine, scraping bowl as needed. Pour mixture over bread and lightly toss to coat all pieces. Place Butter pieces on top of bread and sprinkle with Sugar mixture. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Drizzle with Syrup and enjoy! Serves approx. 6 to 8
